Enabling Cookies

On the browser Menu
Click Tools >> Internet Options
Choose Privacy tab
Choose Advanced
Make sure that nothing is checkmarked.

In case 'Override automatic cookie...' is marked, set a checkmark at
'First party cookies'
'Accept'
and
'Always allow session cookies'

Click OK and restart your webbrowser.





Enabling Javascript

On the browser Menu
Click Tools >> Internet Options
Choose Security tab
Choose Internet (zone)
Click button marked Custom Level...



 
Scroll down over three quarters of the way
until you find the heading Scripting

The first subheading is Active Scripting

Look at the buttons beneath:
Ensure that the button marked Enable is checked as shown.

Click OK buttons to make and confirm changes.
